Simple grass airstrip maintained by volunteers. There are a few hangars with restoration plans in the future. This is a great place for the fly in of vintage aircraft. Managed by great people who keep things organized and running well.

Ranger is a MUST visit historical landmark. It’s not only for aviation lovers. It’s for anyone that enjoys the outdoors, a sense of nostalgia, and history buffs. Immerse yourself in the gorgeous scenery and fantastic people. The Ranger Fly-In is the best event!

So actually my best friend and I went to Halettsville today for their vintage plane fly in. We met the pilot of Old Sport, Jared, and let me just say hands on one of the most thrilling experiences off my life! I had an amazing time, was so much fun and cant wait to fly again!
