Just another of Plano's excellent libraries. I know I feel very fortunate to live in a community that values libraries and the benefits that they bring to the citizens.
This is a great library with an amazing collection of books. I like the reading areas and computer areas. My toddler daughter loves the children's area complete with toys. A special mention for the community connector programs and special programs for kids. And I must recommend checking out the dvd collection. We love going to this library.
UPDATE Mar 2021 Masks are no longer required although the staff still wears them. Otherwise virus mitigation continue. UPDATE May 2020. OooRah! They are open for business...sort of during the Wuhan virus crises. One can go online and browse, put books on hold and check them out. Contact library for details but once a book is ready for check out go to library, call them inside with library card nr. and they will get book(s) check them out and bring to front door for you to get. We got books on May 15th and not due until Jul 9th. Lots more time to read material. My tax $$ at work appreciate website to search & put books on hold. You can suggest items (DVD, books, etc) for purchase and when obtained are check out to you first. In Oct 2017 new self-check out machines installed in lobby. See photos. Also new scanning equipment was installed in lobby and drive-thru in 4th qtr 2017 to improve returns of material. Two resources for audio book which you can download to your phone/tablet or check out the Playway (MP3 players) books.
Love this place! They have a wide range of manga for a person like me! 10/10
This library has an amazing selection of books along with its other 4 partner libraries, they truly make the worlds of reading a reality.
