We had the best luck fishing here. Peaceful watching the water (except for the traffic on the causeway) Even got to see the Pirate Ship! The staff in the shop were very friendly and helpful. I'm glad we decided to try fishing from there pier. They let us bring our folding chairs and poles. Spent all afternoon here. I'll remember to bring the sunscreen next time!

Went to port Isabel to visit my mother. Loved it down there. Would move down there tomorrow if I could. Fished on the pier for most of the day, caught some fish and talked to some really nice people. Great place to go by yourself or with the whole family walk the pier get some sun some ocean breezes. Restaurants bars really cool place. Well worth your time

Lots of local fishing guides. Great place to meet up with one for a great time fishing. Fished with Capt Jaime de la Fuentes several times now and has always been a great time and a limit caught. Will continue chartering him when ever possible.
