It was cool. Worth the stop. Its kinda weathered. Just a suggestion maybe mix a little Portland in the top coat. I'm all about authenticity and all. Please take no offense but to stand the test of time it wouldn't hurt. Its still a sand castle with a hint of shale fired in a kiln around 600 degrees Celsius to burn off a little oxygen then mis just a bit with the natural sand maybe 5 to 1 just to help stand the test of time. It was impressive the work and detail put into it.
It is indeed good but not preserved well. It shows deep efforts in carving and appreciated art.
At one time it must have been beautiful. But I'm guessing time and inconsiderate people have ruined this price of art.
There will b 1st ever Family World Sand Castle Championship. April 5th - May 26th 2021.
It is big, in need of repairs but still impressive. Online info says it is at the visitors center but it is at the chamber offices. Worth the stop anytime day or night
