Erving

O am actually a Erving resident, and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE this place!!! It Quant and cute and the people that work there are wonderful. I recommend a stop by if on RT 2.

They make all their oil an candy and it's in a building that I think might be a landmark not sure it's been there since before I was born I remember it when it was a soft serve ice cream shop we used to go up to the mountains that you see to the right of you back then my grandfather and grandmother used to own the middle of one those whole mountains quite lot land we used to camp up there and we used to travel up there every weekend that's if we had school in summer we stayed up there 98 percent the time..was the best time for a child to do..growing up the way we did in the 70s and 80s as a teen...we didnt have internet we barely had TV if you he ad more than 2 TVs in your home you were well off back then.anyway..my grandparents built that place my mother's father did with his bare hands at the top of the mountain were Indians they owned the whole top of the mountain and were very nice had to respect thow..but they let my grandfather build a pipe into the wild water spring in the mountain so we could get fresh water and very cold from a running river we used to go tubing down it..the bottom of the mountain was owned by a friend of my parents after they got to know him we used go in his part of the river he didnt care his dobermans did though. Haa..they would chase us not sure if they were just playing we never got attacked or bit ..but beautiful place back then now its crowded we sold it long time ago now it gas 5oo.people on it not ok...I dont even want to go see it my cousins went up there and said doesnt even look the same dont go..but it's a beautiful place to visit up there no crime that u cam see at least it looks very calm n quiet and peaceful and kind people watch the video of it I have up she tells me was the same place I used stop and get ice cream with my family every time we drove by they stopped love you mom and my aunts and uncles for letting all 11 or more of us . 11 most time kids stop and probably bother u but u got us the ice cream anyways maybe ti shut us up but either way was kind n a nice memory and they kept saying it was the wrong place but I knew it was t it e right place and the video I took tells me that was an ice cream place and why would I remember that building its painted now used to be dark red ...looks great now but her saying used be ice cream place then few restaurants that makes sense I went up there...31 years ago was think last time went up like maybe 16 years old 15 maybe I regret it now but if ever I this way stop by there are quite few great places to visit
