I have a generative disc disease. I felt like an old man walking around with my back arched and in constant pain. Walking slow and unable to straighten my back, bending down to put on my socks was a difficult task. After a few sessions with Joe I could walk around without any pain in my knees. I could also sense the pain in my back ease with every session. Thanks to Joe, after only 8 sessions and about two months of physical therapy I can can feel like I am well on my way to returning to normal. If you are looking for PT in San Antonio, I would highly recommend giving Texas Manual Therapy a call. You truly won't regret it.

Joe is amazing. I can’t say that enough. I was in a really bad car accident a few years ago and ever since have had constant neck and back pain. I have tried everything from airrosti, chiropractors and then was told to see a neurologist to see if I needed surgery to fix nerve damage. Instead I saw Joe. I can’t describe what he does other than it’s magical. He is a true professional and takes the time to see where your pain is coming from and thoroughly works to make sure he does all he can to give you the relief you need! I have been pain free and headache free since seeing him! I highly recommend Joe to anyone. Also, his office manager Kim was so polite and funny. She really makes you feel welcomed. The two of them together make you feel you’re in the best of hands. They make a great team.

When asked if I would give a testimonial on the services of Joe Switzenberg, I said yes without hesitation. I have suffered from chronic back pain interspersed with severe and sometimes debilitating episodes of pain for most of my adult life. I experienced these severe bouts of pain on an average of every two months. During my last episode of severe pain, I visited Joe and, after consulting with him, began treatment with him. I cannot begin to tell you the difference it has made in my life. It has been six months of pain free living. I have not had another severe episode of pain, and the chronic pain is down to almost non-existent for the first time in years. I especially appreciated Joe’s personable care. He didn’t treat me as a number, but as an individual with a unique set of needs and treated me as such. I highly recommend Joe as both a person and a uniquely skilled therapist!

Joe Switzenberg has totally relieved my lower back and sciatica pain, pain that I suffered with for almost 40 years. For the last 10 years I have been sitting on a wheelchair air cushion (and carried it everywhere I went) to help minimize the pain. I have gone to chiropractors and have gotten temporary relief. In January 2018, I met with Joe, and after only one session I had considerable pain relief. After a series of sessions, I am now pain free. He explained the type of therapy he performed, and how that over time, my body had gotten twisted and misaligned and how his therapy would work on resetting tendons, veins and arteries that were affected. I had about three treatments a week for six weeks. After that, I have gone back about every 6 months for a treatment tweak, and now I feel like I did in my 30’s (I just turned 70).nDr Switzenberg has changed my life! I have sent many of my friends and acquaintances. All have told me that he relieved their pains and thanked me for the referral.
