Salt Lake City Justice Courts

3.5. I appreciate the prosecuting attorney giving me the opportunity to prove that problems with parts of my car were addressed. But the clerks are subpar. They sent me conflicting times, did not cancel me from two video conferences when they should have and scheduled a conference that I did not need to be a part of, also.

I must say, I'm very impressed with the city's justice court. I respect the judges and am truly grateful for the public defenders and their services.

No need to show up on time at 8:30am if you have Judge Baxter, he will go through 2 hours of jail sentencing through webcam before they even touch anyone who appeared at 8:30am to the courthouse. Take your time arriving. I had to go and renew my downtown parking 3 times because the time limit kept running out and I didn’t want a ticket. Ended up spending $6 for parking alone. They don’t offer any free parking either. Good luck dealing with this courthouse.

This is the best justice court in Utah. I have been there multiple times. The attorneys there like Erin McClure, Chelsie Cruz, Dominca Delacruz, Mallorie Goguen, and Jackie Reidelberger are just amazing! The bailiffs are also very helpful, professional and nice.

My experience with Salt Lake City Justice Court is the recorded voice promt, which is the voice of a woman with a Mexican accent. My daughter had a hard time in one of her classes because her teacher had an accent. I realize we are dealing with some "border" issues; but as an American I believe our biggest issue is the refugees. I know plenty of homeless Americans and Native Americans who would love the opportunity to be housed within City limits, handed a job and benefits; especially us Navajos who work hard for our money. Since we are the largest tribe, we do not receive money from our tribe. As Americans, we tolorate way too much as a nation. It won't be long before all the wrong people have taken over. Where's our American standard? Please change your recording. I had to listen to it several times before I understood which number I was suppose to choose.
