I've never raced here before. We stopped by on our way over to Bristol on dirt. I'm a huge fan that they open the spectator overlook during the practice hours so the general public we can take a look. Beautiful facilities all around.
Welcome to a super spreader event...nWhy is this?? Why will the organizer not mandate face masks.....there is no way to sit 6 feet apart!nWe enjoyed the show, they tried hard to entertain...$20 for a ticket is harsh...but still fun is not free....nAgain: organizer...you are responsible for peoples safety....make them wear a mask!!!
Really enjoyed the Tour of Destruction. Appreciated that they announced and requested no smoking in the stands where several of us had our kids with us. The show was awesome looking forward to next year.. down side is the bathroom lines were awful. Felt like I needed to bleach my shoes.. the floor was pee soaked. But not on race way. People tend to pee like animals lol
Actually just stopped in to check the place out since we were nearby. Speedway looks awesome. Talked to a very friendly maintenance guy there and he told me about some of the history of it and other info. I'd love to come watch a race sometime but live up in Illinois. Maybe some day.
