From reading the reviews it looks like I had a uniquely poor experience. But, to break it down quickly... Service and kitchen were extremely slow, maybe it's Covid-19 related. Will try them again on a different night, and appreciate the owner's feedback on my review.
A rare find in a boutique hotel. Built in 1916, rich in history. Nicely appointed. 1 block from the beach. The service impeccable. Staff friendly and very accommodating. Dinner on Friday and Saturday night includes their famous prime rib. The area in Winthrop, MA is lovely. Close to Logan Airport. Recommend for overnight or extended stay. Not as touristy as other places in the Boston area. Prices reflected as well.
