Me and my special someone spent a good part of the day. The curator was very knowledgeable. She was very helpful and showing us different exhibits. Found this very educational.

Who doesn't love beautiful works of art?nSumter is blessed with many talented and creative local artists.nPatriot Hall and the Sumter County Gallery of Art are a short drive from anywhere in town. I'd bet that may local people have never been there, if that's you, you should visit today, you won't be sorry.nVisitors to Sumter are welcome too, and the suggested donation is only $2.00, so you get to see some beautiful art, and it won't dent your pocketbook. It's ours, it's wonderful, please pay this underutilized wonder a visit!

FREE and open to the public! Beautiful exhibition galleries and a nice little gift shop. They also offer art classes. The lady running the place is an absolute joy to talk to. The location is surrounded by historical houses and buildings that were also a treat to see. Check their website for events and gallery updates!
