Meg took us out for a delightful trip to the sound. We saw loads of dolphins, and Meg shared all kinds of information with us on the local ecosystem. We had multiple young kids (5-12 years old) with us and they loved it! She had a great way of making learning fun for kids and adults. Thank you for making a wonderful, memorable day out of a cloudy day that was a bit too cold to have fun at the beach!

We had a great tour with Meg and Matthew! We brought our 3.5 year old and baby — was a perfect family outing. The beautiful views, kind captains, and expert ecology knowledge made for a wonderful experience. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Edisto Island.

Our two hour history and Gullah boat tour was a highlight of our Edisto trip. Our guide Meg was highly knowledgeable and engaging, and the boat ride through the Sound and up a river and creek was delightful, as Meg told story after story about the island’s history and culture. Our 6, 8 and10 year old grandkids soaked it all up, and excitedly retold us the stories after the tour. Many thanks to Meg for the fascinating tour!

I have had the pleasure of booking two tours with Botany Bay Ecotours. Both tours were absolutely amazing the first was a dolphin ecotour with captain Meg. I learned so much Edisto history from Meg and loved learning more about the history along the ACE basin. The second tour was the Morgan Island tour with Captain Landon and we had so much fun. He was extremely knowledgeable about the rhesus monkeys how they were brought to the island. He rode us around til we got to see them and dolphin on the way back. Both captains are so friendly and personable they make booking so easy. Also, they have both been doing virtual science lessons which I watch daily and greatly appreciate them keeping us connected to Edisto. I can honestly say I wouldn’t think of booking with anyone other than Botany Bay Ecotours.
