I called and spoke with a paralegal Kelly. I called to ask about services to get a land deed in our name. At first the phone call was going very well, she told me our deed was not sellable or mortgageable and that the prior owner can take it back from us. I asked her if she could explain what that meant and when I did it was as if though something just snapped, she started being very condescending and while she could have very easily said that's not something I, being a paralegal can discuss with you she said you know I didn't even need to answer you but the holy spirit compelled me to do so even though we are 2 to 3 weeks behind LIKE MOST LAWYERS! I am waiting on the head of the firm to call me back and I will take this review down but it's just sad that during a pandemic and global mayhem people choose not to speak kindly to one another. I was not innocent and most definitely left her with my mind before she hung up but it was absolutely unwarranted the way she acted as I too run businesses and deal with daily stresses...nnThe worst part of all of this is that there are reviews that literally warn of her and I thought just maybe that person was in the wrong but now I understand that was definitely not the case.

Anderson & Brown is one of the best law firms in the low country! They have represented my family in two property closings over the years, and I would not hesitate to use them again in the future. We recently closed on our new build home in Bluffton SC and my entire family was sick with the stomach bug. We were unable to leave the house on the day of the closing, so Kevin Brown took it upon himself to come to our rental and do the closing there on his way into his office.
