I arrived with all necessary documents according to the website to process a petition of a document. The clerk sent me back stating it wasn't sufficient. Confused I spoke over the phone with the same office and they stated it should have been processed since I had the necessary documents. I returned to the office and the clerk again demanded in a loud tone that I needed an extra document that I have no way of getting, and stated he'd process everything but that I would probably not receive it. I'm now worried that he didn't process it correctly. He was the only one contradicting himself with the online information and with the phone representative. Terrible service. Made everything more difficult than should have been.

I visited the website to inquire about a birth certificate, it said walk-ins welcomed and hours of operation from 8-5, when I arrived at the consulate it was 2:30 pm and the guy at the door told me they only offer services for walk+ins until 12:30 why don't they specify this on their website?

Very helpful and informative. I needed verification of some government documents for dual citizenship.

Is improving on their service...good job

I went to renew my passport. It took one and a half hours so, not too bad. I rated with two stars for the place, old and dirty as any other government building in Mexico. Some workers were kind of rude particularly that security guard, yelling to keep silence. I expected a better place and better treat to make every Mexican visiting feel safe.
