If I could give this place a 0 I would. This is one the worst community colleges to attend. You have to figure out everything yourself with no help. To withdraw from a class at this campus you have to go to financial aid, student services, and then an academic advisor. There is an option to drop it online but it doesn’t work. They also degree and audit very late. If your fine waiting 2 months before your credits are counted. This is the place for you!
I have had a great time at TCC. The only campus I didn't really like was the owasso campus. Haven't had to go to the northeast campus yet. The staff has always been really friendly with me. Financial services is really friendly at southeast (that is the only one I have had to talk to anyone at) and I've gotten my refunds in a very timely manner. I would definitely recommend this community college to anyone that is just starting out in higher education.
You get what you expect with a community college. I had a bad experience dealing with the student workers in the main computer lab. They absolutely refused to help me set up my account to print. The girls seemed inconvenienced that I would even ask for help.
Don’t waste your time with this school. They don’t help you at all. They don’t make decisions based on the students needs. You can’t talk directly to anyone unless you put in a work order. We have done that several times with no response. This isn’t just one campus either.nWe talked with the guidance counselor at the west campus. The counselor couldn’t even speak or answer with confidence about the subject at hand. We asked if he was sure. He admitted he didn’t know. For real!? Why are you in a position to answer questions?
Fabulous school; More classes should be offered at this campus (like Spanish!) and there have been a few issues with professors and even a dean (eek!) but everyone else there makes up for it. Campus provost (Dr. Kevin David) is incredibly kind and always listens, as well as the new CDC Director (Phil from Australia). The people make this campus the best!
