Nice quick stop to see old trainsnnTrain park to look atnSee a restored Frisco 4500 steam engine, passenger car and caboose at this outdoor attraction that celebrates Tulsa’s oil and transportation history. It’s built on the site of the 1901 oil strike that turned the city into the “Oil Capital of the World,” and it has a new visitor center that opened in 2019. The spot is marked by America’s tallest oil derrick, a 154-foot-tall structure built specifically for the village.

Cool Rt 66 stop close to town if you live or stay in the Tulsa metro, but at the moment there's not much to do other than admire the nostalgic train cars and mock gas station. However, I know that they're doing a ton to ramp up tourism at this site, and there's a big building of some sort under construction against the Meteor train. I'm interested to see what this turns into in the next year.

Cute Route 66 attraction. The rebuilt gas station is neat. They were building a train depot when I visited. A few train cars and other vehicles to look at. Stop if you're in the area.

Super nice people....but definitely a work in progress, my elderly father (93) was like a kid in a candy store....nDefinitely an impressive must see!

I love trains and these are beautiful! It's easy to find and free. You can also make a donation if you'd like to.
