We were looking for marshmallows for our hot chocolate. No one seems to carry them any more. I searched on line and it said Big Lots had them by the bag. It turns out they are the marshmallows for Lucky Charms, but marshmallows are marshmallows right? We shall see. The store was pretty clean, just really spread out. The check out went pretty quick.
I always enjoy a good stroll through Big Lots but I didn't find what I was looking for on this trip, no big thing.
I haven't been Shopping like that in A Minute, & I had an Awesome Time!, Even though it was just myself that went, I Really enjoyed it. Can't wait to give my grandkids their stuff that I got them & I enjoyed shopping for myself as well. The Cashier & The lady were there, Extremely Friendly, considering I wanted to shop till closing time ( Sorry Ya'll) but Thank You for Excellent Service)
It's in a somewhat run down shopping center (Town West), and has a strange Bazaar type of vibe to it, unlike other Big Lots I've been to. It's hit and miss on deals, and they always seem understocked, but it could be due to the pandemic, as that's the only time I've visited. Great deals however, when you are able to find them. It's always fun to go hunting, and Super Thrift is now open and a couple of doors down so it's worth a trip if you've never been! Harbor Freight is also next door, for a huge selection of insanely inexpensive tools. It could be a great shopping day if you don't mind digging a bit!
Now have veterans discount. Good price on a variety of things. Have paper towels and toilet paper.
