Days Inn by Wyndham Wilkesboro

This was a pretty nice place. The room wasn't the cleanest in the world. We were eating dinner and I saw a roach crawl out from under the telephone. It crawled out and turned back twice. The coffee in the lobby was excellent. The front desk clerk, Kevin, was super friendly and provided great customer service. The housekeeper was very friendly as well. I just wish they would drop the prices of the rooms since breakfast isn't being served due to COVID-19. ☺

It's fine, I would stay here again due to pricing. Definitely a good location, front staff was nice, linens were clean. We were concerned about how well the room was cleaned- the headboard was very clearly dirty and had sticky kid handprints on it. We bought some disinfectant and cleaned all the hard surfaces we were touching.nKind of noisy, can hear people running around upstairs and talking outside. There were three lamps in the room and each had a different colored bulb in it(not a real issue, just kind of funny).nFor the most part it's exactly what I expect of an affordable hotel stay. Would have given 4 stars but that headboard...

It was the last vacancy since I waited to book, but these beds, pillows and overall cleanliness were just not there. The bed is like laying down on a pullout couch. Also, the exterior door wouldn’t shut without assistance.nI know that you get what you pay for, so the price was okay.

The cleanliness left a lot to be desired. We had to buy bug spray from Lowes Foods. There were other hotel guests lingering outside our room until 3:30a.m. being noisy. Our vehicle sustained property damage on the passenger side door. It was keyed.
