Beautiful lodge nestled in the Appalachian mountains. Quiet and soothing. The breakfasts are delicious. Highly recommend.

After Hurricane Maria quashed our plans to spend the week at the coast, we decided to head to the NC mountain region instead. We decided to visit the Boone area since neither of us had been there to visit since we were teens. We did a Google search enroute for B&B lodging, since we prefer that sort of accommodation whenever we can find it. We liked the sound of Carolina Mountain Lodge's amenities so we gave a call. Even though it was short notice, the owner, Ann, welcomed us with the promise of the Crystal Room, the room we were hoping for.nAnn maintains a clean, lovely B&B with comfortable beds, large bathrooms, plenty of linens, excellent porch areas, wonderful breakfasts, and a hot tub. We were also able to dine on the porch one evening by candlelight after watching the sun set.nIf you're in the Boone area, and want to stay where you'll really feel at home, plus a little luxury, give Ann a call. If she's got a room available, you'll be glad you did.

Wonderful location, great breakfast and a unique room make for a awesome get away. Anne was charming and make us feel very at home. Wonderful view of the sunrise 500 ft from the lodge and Blue Ridge Parkway is just a few minutes.

We loved this place! Beautiful, great hot tub, wonderful company and delicious food. We will be back!
