Holiday Inn Express & Suites Raleigh Durham Airport at Rtp

The amenities are there for the most part. Check in was speedy and the desk clerk was fine. Did offer and promptly transfer Welcome Points to my IHG balance. Biggest issues are no ice nachine on every floor (this is a biggie for me.) The other issue (other than the overall smallness of the room) is the bathroom layout. The sink area is open to the room and there is separate bath/toilet area. If this is for you, then congrats. I, however, am not a fan. Room was pretty quiet despite being next to the elevator.

TERRIBLE Stay...Unless you enjoy a train blaring by your room every morning at 4:40am - This hotel isn't for you . Its so loud it shakes the room ..Room was fine..requested first floor, couldn't be met. Instead of feeling rested - I am exhausted. Very unpleasant business stay.

Very nice hotel with great staff. No hot breakfast. They do clean rooms daily.

Clean and comfortable but you can't see the TV from the desk the room's are just laid out oddly

I booked this hotel for its location and specifically for the breakfast. The rooms are large and the bed is comfortable, the room has a pungent smell but its okay. As I booked this hotel specifically for its breakfast bevause of the great reviews. I am so disappointed. They have a to-go bag instead of breakfast which would have been fine because of covid but what is in there is disgusting. It consists of: a small granola bar, apple, bottle of water, a child size carton of juice and for some reason salt & pepper and knife and fork. I have no clue what I'm supposed to cut with this knife and fork or season? After going to the gym and receiving the so called breakfast it is so so bad! I have had to go out and pay my own money to get breakfast ever since. I have also shared a picture of the breakfast with my colleagues and they have laughed and agreed it is horrendous. At least have a hot breakfast sandwich come on?!
