Sheraton Imperial Hotel Raleigh-Durham Airport at Research Triangle Park

Stay 01/25, very nice and clean facility. The shuttle from the airport was on time and I forget the shuttle drivers name(I think he is from NJ, from what I remember from our conversation). However, he was very nice and informative person. Made us feel welcomed on cold and drizzly day.nnThe rooms were clean and spotless. The front desk staff was very attentive and had our rooms ready.nnThe only reason I gave it a 4 star is because on the next cold and rainy morning when I was getting ready to go out (5am) there was no hot water at all on the floor that I was staying. It could be just a minor maintenance mishap for my stay.nnOverall, very good place. I would definitely return, especially with hot water.

Booked multiple rooms here, upon arrival the overnight guy gave me and my car club a hard time checking in. So we all canceled our rooms, and took our business to Spring Hill Suites. They were a lot more accommodating, A LOT more friendlier staff, and actually listened to guest needs. I do not recommend anyone staying here, because it will be a waste of time and money. They missed out on 8 rooms at 2 nights a piece, and i know they weren’t anywhere near sold out. Once again, please book elsewhere. Do not waste your time and money trying to book here. The spring hill suites is literally less than 5 minutes away. And i will be booking at the spring hill, each time i make a trip to durham.

Just from walking in, the entrance is beautifully arranged. Check in was easy and actually fun since they have you make your own room keys due to Covid19. Got to my room and it was very cozy and enjoyed the lighting setup by the closet. I'll definitely be booking here in the future. Easy access to the highway and you're not too far away from restaurants.

I had a very large room with a fridge and two TVs. The TVs were not internet enabled and only one had a sleep timer and HDMI accessibility, luckily that was the one closest to the bed. The free Wi-Fi was fast and stable. There isn't much around in terms of provisions. One star off for location and old TVs.

Great positive staff. Rooms clean. But everything so old and discouraging. It’s 2021 not 1990.
