Stuck down a dirt road and unassuming. But the shop reminds me of a mini museum, and the kids got more gems per bucket here than most other places. Yes it's probably stocked, but it's a novelty and the kids love it. And I even purchased a 350million year old fossil for 80$ inside!
Awesome place to stop and spend some time. Huge selection in the shop and museum. The ladies running it are VERY knowledgeable and kind. The planning for rocks is predetermined, so you will get some nice finds. The area is shaded, and their property is beautiful. HIGHLY recommend for couples and family's, kids will love it. They help you identify what you find.
It wasn't very entertaining, stones and gems were beautiful, you will need a mosquito net. We had fun corporately mining for gems sorting through lake pebbles. A better educational experience would be great and a gem key, in print, so you know what you found.
My kids enjoyed it!
