We hoped for more. The hostess tries hard and makes the best of a place that is a bit tired.

Convenient location for walking to class at Penland. Comfortable bed, nice clean spacious room and bathroom. Hot shower. DELICIOUS breakfast! A place you will want to return to!

A very sweet place with lots of charm. Room was cozy and clean and breakfast (the only meal I had there) was delicious.

Absolutely beautiful place. I could not have asked for a better place to stay. I felt like I was at home even though I was many miles from it. Suzanne offers such a warm hospitality she feels like family right from the start. Breakfast is amazing and coffee is served from hand crafted mugs from artists in the area. When I first walked in I was greeted by the pleasant smell of aged wood and seeing an abundance of artwork always in eye sight. This is an amazing and comfortable place to stay.

My sister and I stayed here for 4 days. Suzanne is an wonderful host with the most awesome breakfast that I have ever eaten. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. I would recommend this BNB to anyone and I would definitely stay there again.
