Lake James State Park - Paddys Creek

We very much enjoyed Lake James Paddy's Creek. There are nice hiking trails some that go along the lake and others for mountain bikes or a stroll along a stream. We took our kayaks and launched them near the swimming area. The have a large bath house and swimming area. (There is a fee to swim and it is not open for the season in February) Park staff was friendly and helpful.

Great place to kayak with a little beach area for kids to swim. Has some debris in the water near the picnicking areas.

Loved it... The Rangers were very helpful and nice. Would recommend this campground to anyone. AWESOME

I love the park. I took my dog for a walk.
