Easy to find great parking set up great concessions super cool DJ playing awesome music good security good attractions was disappointed that I paid VIP pricing and there was no hayride which I was informed the hayride will be returning soon but no rain checks available that was disappointing we were only allowed to go into each exhibit one time and had our VIP armbands marked with a sharpie I feel like we should have been able to go into the exhibits multiple times if we wanted to to make Worth the $30 we spent overall the experience was great

My party called ahead of time to ask if they were excepting guests this evening without reservations, the very rude employee on the phone stated “the gates closed at 10”, we then explained we would be driving an hour away and really wanted to attend their attractions but was told the same response. We then went on the website and found their Q&A section that states if we arrived before their gate closed we would be able to enjoy the attractions. Well apparently their website does not adequately reflect their policies. We arrived and were very excited and impressed pulling up. As we approached to pay for parking we were told they were not taking us if we did not have reservations. We expressed that we called on the phone asking beforehand, we were then rudely cut off by the employee saying she was the one answering the phone that night (makes sense). She ALSO was not wearing proper face covering and was very close to the person driving which also does not reflect the companies COVID-19 polices. Then we were turned away and told if we had a problem to call the owner. By driving all this way we really did just want to enjoy the attractions but we were met with hostility and rudeness by this specific employee. I believe we would have enjoyed our visit but we found another location more than willing to have our business with a nicer staff and we will no longer be providing our business to Darkside Haunted Estates.

We took our kids and their girlfriends, group of 10 and drove an hour to visit. Half of the houses we went into did not have a single person in them, all the trails that we had to walk, not one single person jumped out. We all had to start scaring each other just to make it fun. We have been several years and always enjoyed it but this year was an absolute waste of $200. Y'all are making alot of money not to have someone filled in those houses and trails like normal. If you are under staffed, maybe you should think about being cheaper with the tickets. Very very disappointing.

I just want to take a minute to say how AWESOME this place is. We had a party of 9 and bought our tickets online. We only waited for a short time. Everything you get for 20 bucks was unthinkable. I never dreamed it was so much. The planning and time that went into this haunted experience is unthinkable and so appreciated. We needed this and are so thankful for your hard work. We will be back!!! Cawait for your Christmas lights display. THANK YOU!!!!

I've been here 4 times now. I can truly say of the 3 main haunts around Raleigh, DHE is definitely the best. There's multiple attractions and you get your monies worth for sure. No need in paying a lot more to go to Panic Point when you can go here.nnThere was a lack of care about any sort of social distancing or mask wearing when in line but I'm excusing that in the review.nnIf you've been to Woods of Terror of Spookywoods near Greensboro then you may be slightly disappointed but when compared to the Raleigh market there is no doubt this is the best one. Particularly enjoyed the slaughterhouse
