Days Inn by Wyndham Benson

Looking better all the time! This is a bargain priced hotel off a busy highway.nThere is plenty of truck parking (as long as the trucks are parked smartly)nnSome of the complaints in these reviews are valid of corse but for what it cost its best to think of the place as an indoor camping site.nnIts got running water, heat, & A/C.nThe town of Benson is quite charming.nPlenty of really good places to eat, & a grocery store within walking distance too.nnThe Hotel has decent landscape including fig, and pear trees.nnThe pool is large.nnAgain, this is a low cost hotel with hot & cold running water and the doors all lock securely.nThere are nicer hotels a few miles away for about double the price if You prefer.nHope this helps!

I have stayed at the days inn in benson more time then I can count.and never once has the place and the staff ever let me down.. always attentive polite and eager to help or have a pleasent conversation with me.. even the owners are there in the trenches as well.. the wife helping wash and fold linens..and husband heading up maintanice.. there is a great family vibe that keeps bringing me back here

Very dirty. The toilet had urine and what I assume was fecal matter on the seat. Bedding was dirty. Pillow cases and sheets had yellowish stains very obvious and should not be on anyone's bed let alone a motel. Tub clogged when I took a shower. Noise from outside from people yelling and traffic was horrific. I slept in the dump truck. I felt less dirty in It. It does have good truck parking.

Comfy beds, but extremely shady characters all around property. Didnt feel safe when not in room..

Found 4 German roaches (the worst kind) on the wall as soon as I entered. Immediately checked the mattresses for bed bugs and found none. Hoping I checked thoroughly enough and don't wake up with bites.
