The Chalet Inn

Wanted to give my husband an early birthday present and found the chalet inn website. The pictures online don’t do this place justice. This wasn’t just a place to stay but an experience! From the staff and George waiting in the parking lot as we drove up to the chalet to the gorgeous views, hiking trails, comfy rooms, and European flair.. this place is a breath of fresh air. My husband, a veteran, loved talking with George about his military days and all the staff were so helpful and made excellent activity recommendations. We thoroughly loved meeting the other guests and would highly recommend the chalet inn to everyone!

George and the staff made our stay very pleasant. We went to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park for the weekend and Mr. George gave us the best tips on where to go and hike to maximize our time. We stayed in the Mountain Glade room, the breakfast was great, the place is very quiet and they just get all the details right, which is important for a BnB. I recommend this place and would def. go back and maybe get a suite next time we visit.

My partner and I were wanting to get away from the city for her birthday. I looked online and found this beautiful cabin nestled on the side of a mountain. Once we arrived I was delighted to find the pictures online did not do it's Beauty Justice! George and the staff were fantastic hosts very welcoming and friendly! The cabins are roomy and all the Comfort one can ask for. The jetted tub with the fireplace is absolutely therapeutic! I will look forward to returning and we'll plan to stay here longer next trip! Thanks George! :-)

I had booked a stay for a two nights but was unable because of a snow storm. George indicated the roads could get bad as their drive is steep and narrow and last to be plowed. He booked a room at the local Holiday Inn Express near the highway. We decided to head up to Waynesville and stay there and cancel our stay at the Chalet. He has kept the deposit even though it was $25.00 more then the room he booked for us. He did offer to have us return before May 1st which we just are unable to do. I realize weather conditions are out of our control which goes both ways. Maybe splitting the deposit would have been the reasonable thing to do.

Really knowledgeable young lady ( Kathy). I took a tour of the very well maintained property. Really nice.
