I had been to this place multiple times before the pandemic and was fairly well kept with a family business vibe. I always found good food and delicious finds in the grocery area of the establishment. Aware that they offered takeout I decided to go in person rather than use a food delivery service. While I looked around the grocery side I noticed how run down and dirty it was. I waited around for around 15 min to make my order while the person in charge took phone orders and kept going to the back. It was a strange experience being that I smelled no food being cooked nor did it seem like the business was really operational. I looked around to see a sanitation rating considering the state of everything I saw and found none on display. At this point I simply walked out, I'm aware that businesses have been affected from the Pandemic. However seeing how bad things have gone in this establishment was sad.
I ordered to pick up. That was seamless. However the prices on the website are not correct. There was a significant increase, and the meal didn't even come with bread. That's extra. The food was good .
I’ve been eating here for more than 15 years and it’s still my favorite Indian food in Winston. Their Tikka Masala is amazing but I’ve never ordered anything I didn’t like.nI also love the grocery store and their huge selection of incense.
Terrible. Not an Indian restaurant at all. We ordered paneer Tikka masala. This savings was sweet. This Sabri is never sweet. When we spoke a person about it they said well we cater to the American population. But this Sabzi is never sweet. Also we had to ask multiple times for silverware and plates. Service was terrible.
I buy my yogurts form this store every week. I also, been trying new food items, spices, snack food, it's been fun to try new food during the COVID. Please, try expanding yourself, by trying new taste.
