Hotel Indigo Winston-Salem Downtown

Beautifully designed but the flooring... I know they are original. They squeak so loud. It's a bit unnerving. Wonderful service nice beds beautiful rooms. The only pillow we could sleep on though. Was the long throw pillow. The rest of the pillows hurt our necks. Good thing it was long enough we could share it.

The staff is a perfect 10! Our stay was for our anniversary and we were very disappointed. The valet was very unprofessional, front desk staff was great though. The bar atmosphere was ok, food is overpriced and not good at all. Stayed in executive king suite and there was no refrigerator or microwave, very bland room and nothing special. Every hotel has these amenities now days. This is a very overpriced hotel just because of its location to downtown. Next time we will stay elsewhere and get a car service to drive us downtown. Don't recommend this hotel.

Friday night and it was my first visit to this bar in a beautiful hotel seated in downtown Winston Salem. I had a few drinks and an appetizer with friends. The bartender, Chris, was the quintessential bartender. He was incredibly personable, a great listener, clean with an attention to detail, and exhibiting more than enough talent crafting beautiful cocktails often with a little flare, all while seeming to be aware of his surroundings at every moment. Our appetizer, Fried Green Tomatoes, topped with a savory sauce was amazing and truly stood up to its reputation as a sumptuous southern dish. It was surprisingly light but would still satisfy you if you weren't looking for a full meal. I'm so glad I stopped into The Hotel Indigo!

You'll love your stay here. Such a modern feel . So very friendly and helpful . Our stay was short but very pleasant. We stayed in room 410nThe showers are extra big and comfortable. The decor makes you feel like a movie star.nnIn ALL my years of travel ( many) Ive never walked on hotel floors bare foot until now.
