Hampton Inn & Suites Winston-Salem Downtown

Didn’t even get a chance to stay here. I have a Hilton gift card so I was trying to use it for my hospital visit at wake forest. I’ve never used one before so I had questions I needed to ask. Whoever I was transferred to was SO rude, was not listening to my questions whatsoever and was just trying to pawn me off. My question wasn’t difficult.... “how do you use the gift card and is it eligible for rooms”. After repeating the question numerous times it still has not been answered I finally gave up and said I’ll just find a different hotel to which she responded “I don’t care where you stay or what you do”. That’s an excellent way of earning business and providing customer service.

It is a great location and the rooms are modern and clean. The space is decorated very nicely and the bathroom barn door is an added bonus with the full legth mirror. I enjoyed my stay and will be returning. Its location is about a block away from all the good spots downtown.

Great location to eateries and bars. Room Extremely nice. Well decorated, had a washer and dryer in facility we used and the staff were wonderful. Parking free also

Put me and my friends in a king size suite when we requested a 2 bedroom. Then was told there is plenty of spots to park. But come back from eating dinner and there’s no spots left! People standing around everywhere. Then drag racing in a parking deck. Had to pay for parking.

We have stayed in various Hilton Hotels since covid19 began and I have to say this is one of the best experiences. From the moment we checked in until the moment we left we are treated very well.nThe night we checked in we were told about the inclement weather and told about the best place to park.nThe breakfasts in the morning were wonderful. I especially liked the use of gloves in addition to distancing and masks.nThe gym was great and had more than adequate equipment.nThe hotel was quiet and comfortable. The view of the city from our room was beautiful especially once the snow started.nThe second night we asked for directions and mentioned we were walking. The person at the front desk, Bridget, went out of her way to get us umbrellas.nI stopped at the desk the next morning to drop room cards in box and was greated by a very pleasant young lady who asked about our travels and how our stay was, sorry to say I didn't get her name.nCongratulations on confirming why we are Hilton preferred customers. Thanks for helping to make our trip more memorable.
