The Teacherage

Not sure it's a real B & B...I went there to try to reserve all rooms for a wedding weekend (off season). They couldn't tell me if they had availability, couldn't reserve/book rooms, couldn't do anything to assist me.nnIt was 9 or 10 months in advance so they referred me to book online, which didn't work. After that I called numerous times and could never get a hold of anyone so we never stayed. Quite unfortunate.

The jernigan house in ahoskie, is a lovely b&b, I suggest anyone to stay there instead, it's not much further to ahoskie, it's worth the drive to just go there instead.

This is a very nice place to stay. Go ahead and book a night or two with confidence. The rooms are nice, the people are nice, the food is good. I stayed here a while ago and enjoyed it. Then I sent my parents here and they enjoyed it.

I've stayed at The Teacherage in a snowy winter and I loved it, I took great photos and the room was very cozy and warm in a very convenient location to spend a few days away from the stress. The hosts are very helpful and took care of me like a member of the family.nWhat I most liked about it is the privacy of the place and the European style breakfast.nWill definitely come back in Summer.
