I will start by saying I love the food. However, parking is horrible. I wanted to call in my order due to wanting to pay cash but after almost 30 minutes of no answer I went through the website and use a CC. Chose curbside. Arrived around 7:40. Called as directed & still no answer. Also said it would be ready at 7:45/7:50. It is now 8:15 and I’m still waiting. As I was patiently waiting I looked over my receipt to double check the order once again & notice they charge a $2 convenience fee!!! That was the straw that broke the camel’s back. You guys are NOT answering the phone so I was FORCED to order online (even tells you to do this on the answering machine) & then charged an additional fee. This is bulls**t. Will not be dining here again. I will take my business elsewhere.
These are very unprofessional people. At the slightest hint of disapproval on your part, they simply try to kick you out, which means they do not see criticism as a means to improve. They are definitely rude to drivers who come by to pick up orders for others, as I witnessed tonight when one guy was trying to get an order for delivery. In fact, the guy at the counter was straight up rude with him.nJust kept looking down when the gentleman was asking him how long the order would take, and then attempted to call security or something. I didn't know that type of question warranted security or being kicked out. As the gentleman (supposed driver) walked out, the older gentleman keeping guard at the door kept yelling at him and even appeared intent on following the guy. Never did pursue the guy, but kept yelling something in an angry tone. It appeared he was directing it to the guy walking away. I don't know about you, but that seems a little extreme. Definitely no need to treat anyone like that, regardless of how they feel. When you call, it goes straight to voicemail, thereby forcing you to order online (not friendly for those who maybe can't order online). The owners simply think that they are right and the customer is wrong.
Best philly I’ve ever had a chance to get my hands on. The price is totally worth it. Been to a countless number of pizzerias and sandwich establishments- chain and family owned; this place tops them all. From the effortlessly diced texture and flavor of the steak all the way down to their signature vinaigrette, I’m here for it! If you’re hungry for a premium sandwich or a good New York-style pizza, don’t pass up the opportunity to eat here.
Ignore the reviews less than 5 stars. The guys in there are incredibly friendly and the food is fantastic. High quality ingredients at a reasonable price. Also, I'm pretty sure the team there has photographic memory or some superhuman recollection. My wife and I are always greeted, asked how we're doing, and why our order changes from week to week in some cases lol. Very awesome small town feeling, can't beat it!
I personally like the food but my wife was so disgusted by the condition of the restroom that she wouldn't even try their food. Maybe you guys keep a cleaner restroom..... You'll definitely lose less money. Besides that the cleanliness of a restroom reflects the cleanliness of a kitchen.
