Extended Stay America - Durham - University

When my husband and I first moved to this extended stay back in November 2020 we stayed for 6-9 months and I absolutely loved the staff. Everyone of them was nice and very accommodative to our needs. We ended up moving when we saved up the $$ we needed for our home.

Stay away from this place where they saw you something and give you something.. this is worst place to stay we end up going to other hotel due to dishonest people and very dirty place.. front desk person super rude I wish I could give them 0 star.. they are not worth your time or money... Extremely bed experience...

Exposed wires in the bathroom the vet had so much dust I couldn’t see what color it was the refrigerator I wiped it down and had so much dirt on it and turn my white black in room 100 do not stay because whoever staying upstairs is going to rack your head with so much noise I called to complain about it and it continues so if you’re like me I like peace and quiet do not go there also you can hear when the next one flushes the toilet

This is definitely more of a 0-star motel than a 2-star hotel that the website claimed. We thought it would be nice to have a small kitchenette in the times of COVID and booked the place. Worst decision ever. People were smoking all around the property. When we tried to take a shower, it made such a loud noise that the shower was vibrating. The carpet was old and sticky in places. To add insult to injury, we couldn't sleep at night! Our next-door resident was yelling at someone, mouthing obscenities and threatening to call the police until the odd hours in the morning. We left a day early and booked into another place. At fifty dollars per night, it wasn't even that cheap! Definitely not worth the money or aggravation. Stay away.
