Criminal Superior Court

The courthouse is beautiful. One of the nicest I’ve seen. Security is a bit lax, as no one asks you to state your business or where you’re going. Most of the staff seem to care about their jobs. Of course, you’ll cross path with the types of people who are consistently dealing with the law. This does make you wonder how does the county budget?

I was selected for jury duty, followed the instructions on the letter that stated to call after 530pm the day prior. I called and was giving a confirmation of confirmed to show up. Upon arrival I was told no one was needed for that day. What a waste of my time, and work day. This is extremely unprofessional.

Very little respects for the citizens of this town. As well as the court appointed attorneys are hit or miss if they will show up to your hearing on a scheduled date.nnThis court house is a disgrace to the tax paying citizens of this city.

Very professional and well organized

Out of all the courthouses I've worked with, Durham's was, by far, the most organized and with the friendliest staff. Not recommending anyone go there, but if you need anything court related, Durham's courthouse is the best.
