On vacation for a week and visited this place several times! The donuts are absolutely amazing. Very creamy and every flavor was delicious. The breakfast pizza is a must try. The regular pizza was just okay. But again the donuts were the showstoppers.
We traveled the country in our camper to find one of the best tasting doughnuts in the small town USA, OBX. It's lightly crispy, soft, tasty, and not too sweet. You must try the chocolate peanut butter doughnuts!
Very good cheese pizza, the crust is perfect. Too much oregano though.
The food is amazing, but the real reason for this review is the awesome people that work there. Last night when we placed our order the place was completely slammed, (a good sign, as any foodie knows) and the staff remained cool calm and friendly. The food was absolutely worth the wait, as with most things in life, patience pays off! Will return for sure! Keep doing what you're doing over there Dough Shack, yall rock!
Oh my goodness! Y'all!! This place is so tasty! They have 9 flavors of doughnuts. It may not seem like a lot but they do them very well. They also offer breakfast pizza! Yes you read that right. It is pizza crust with eggs and bacon, sausage, or ham and cheese. My family loved it. Then starting at 4 they make and will deliver pizza. Really delicious. If you are staying in the area you should give them a try!
