After seeing the firm expertly assist family members and friends with extremely complicated financial issues, I turned to them for multiple questions and issues I was having in my personal life. They have been fantastic year after year. My significant other decided to break from her family's CPA and give them a shot as well. She was absolutely thrilled with the services she was provided. Even though neither of us live in the immediate area anymore, we have and will continue to go out of our way to Maixner & Maixner for any and all financial snafus, tax filings, and more.

Had a great experience. I asked a lot of questions and they had a question for every answer I asked and more. The knowledge of their craft was pretty obvious. As with any review consider why someone would leave a negative or positive review. I had all my ducks in a row and therefor I had a great experience.

Worked with him twice. First time when I took over helping my father with his taxes, and found out Maixner had left off his social security income. Dad had been taking his taxes to this guy for years. He should have known. When I called to ask him what he could do about this obvious mistake, Maixner was rude and unapologetic. Took taxes elsewhere after that. Later, after my father died, my brother went to Maixner to help with estate. I warned my brother, but he didn't listen. They made another mistake that ended up causing my brother $1,000. Never go to these people.

After entrusting Al and Diane to untangle and correct issues with 4 years of tax returns, I was devastated to find that both last tax year and this tax year they were complicit in assisting my husband in defrauding me with regard to my tax returns for the past two years.nIt will require untold expense and time in addition to extreme discomfort and anxiety in order to undo the damage to my person, my finances and my professional reputation. My husband is a liar, a thief and a gambler and from what I've been able to determine thus far, their actions will cost me and our children our HOME as well as other assets. Words cannot express my devastation.nIf you are willing to and are able to afford to take this kind of risk, I suggest you entrust your personal and/or business finances to this 3rd generation firm of CPA's.
