Kasa St Louis Forest Park Apartments

This was almost a good experience but the neighbors in the apartment above partied all night both nights of our stay - loud music, yelling, stomping around until 3 in the morning.nnThe apartment itself was nice but not very clean. I’m not sure I would stay at another Kasa property after this experience.nnWish I wasn’t posting this at 1 in the morning while listening to loud neighbors.

We booked a room months before the COVID-19 pandemic started for early May.nnI called the booking site to see about canceling the room and getting a refund considering we obviously couldn’t travel to St Louis seeing as the city is pretty much shut down. They said they couldn’t cancel it but would contact the agency and talk to them.nnKasa came back and told us because we booked a non-refundable room we couldn’t cancel or change the reservation. It would be more economically beneficial to go ahead and travel and stay in the booked room or gift the room to someone else.nnI am normally a very understanding person. I completely understand the room was non-refundable in normal circumstances. But this is a worldwide pandemic. There is no way anyone could have predicted a worldwide pandemic when booking a non-refundable hotel room. It’s not like I changed my mind just because. I expected the hotel to have a sympathetic view in things. I get they are loosing money as well due to everything being shut down. But to actually suggest I still travel to a shut down city...to do what? Sit in the hotel room? Spend money on gas to drive all the way there to sit in a hotel room? Where I will have to either order food or buy new food from the store to eat. Thus spending more money. Also exposing myself and my family to people and not being able to quarantine because we will have to stop for gas and food and bathrooms, etc.nnI will not be staying at any Kasa vacation place ever again. This is terrible customer service to actually tell me I should put my family at risk while also loosing money in these uncertain times.

Clean, stylish apartments in a great location! Loved having the full kitchen and the design touches in the apartment were lovely. Would definitely stay here again

Upon arrival our code didn't work to enter the building, so at midnight we had to call the 24/7 service to get in. Then we were told we booked a King size bed, only to find a queen. We took the parking access keys to the attached parking garage, only to find someone in our parking spot. We were given 4 other spots we could use, all taken as well so we had to park about two blocks away. Apt was beautiful, updated, true to photos on website. We stayed 3 nights and had the same parking issues every time. Pool was beautiful and it was in a safe neighborhood and was very quiet which is great. We have a family of 6 so having the 2 bedrooms, plus 2 full bathrooms helped a lot! It was nice finishes but not the best attention to detail, uneven tile work, a leaky master shower, loose faucets, we remodel homes for a living so we notice builder errors easily. It was nice and clean and I liked the queen size pullout couch, plus each bedroom had huge closets which was wonderful! The kitchen was nice, had cookware, silverware, dishes for 6 people, no extra though so we did dishes a lot with the 4 kids. The parking issues were the biggest frustration, the management service kept telling us they would resolve it and have vehicles moved and even towed, which never happened. We would consider returning again, just bringing more wheeled luggage in case we are parking down the street.

We enjoyed this clean & comfortable apartment during our recent visit to St. Louis! The Kasa team was super responsive to any questions we had during our stay, no matter the time of day. :) Can't wait to stay at one of their other locations (& here again) soon!
