I would rate Dr. Goldberg and his team at St. Louis Orthodontic Group as the best orthodontic team in Missouri. They treated both my son and my daughter. Their patience with my autistic son was incredible. They were kind, caring, professional and very efficient. I could tell with each visit that everyone loved their job and took pride in putting smiles back on faces with the upbeat atmosphere.

I very rarely write bad reviews for places I had bad experiences with, but with the experience I had with this place back in November of 2015, I needed to break my silence from it. Dr. Richard Goldberg was very disrespectful and inconsiderate towards me and my mother when I went to get my braces. I remember I always left the office crying and saying I didn´t ever want to go back. When I had my braces on for a month, I was still in miserable pain even though Goldberg told me I would only have pain for about a WEEK. Well when I came in to the orthodontic facility to get my braces tightened for the first time, I explained that my teeth were still aching and Dr. Goldberg basically refused to believe what I was saying and I even tried to explain that I have natural sensitive teeth and he was just was very inconsiderate. Not to mention, Goldberg practically snapped at me and said ¨What do you want me to do about it!? take your braces off!!??¨. He also told my mom that he didn´t have time to put up with me being in pain and not being happy because he had ¨more patients waiting on schedule that he needs to get to¨. No one ever enjoys going to the dentist or to the orthodontist in general so the least you could do is be nice, considerate, and understanding of your patients. Not to ALSO mention, I´m sorry if your running late on schedule, but your patients are how you make money, so don´t let your customers leave unhappy or in my case, sobbing my eyes out. Therefore, because of all of this, I wasn´t going to put up with any more of this throughout my braces treatment. So when my mom tried to get a refund, Dr. Goldberg refused to take my braces off and give us our money back. When I was finally able to go to a new orthodontist, she actually told me I needed mouth surgery to fully fix my teeth and that I needed teeth removal which is something Dr. Goldberg mentioned NOTHING about to me. So if it wasn´t for me going to a different orthodontist, I would not have gotten the proper treatment that I needed from Dr. Goldberg.
