What a wonderful wilderness escape! My friends and I came out for a much needed get away and basically had the best weekend ever at this safe, secluded and beautiful retreat resort. The cabins were all very clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. The staff was exceptionally kind and professional. The lodge serves as the center of the property and is a wonderful place to come together, eat, drink, and be merry. There are so many fun activities available for all ages. I cannot wait to go back. The Wilderness Lodge Resort is a perfect place to bring family and friends together and enjoy the natural beauty of Missouri!
The grounds are amazing and I’d like to call it my happy place. The decor is very rustic, timeless, and welcoming with a slight modern twist. I really enjoyed the family style dinning and they gave amazing vegetarian options. I will definitely come back and visit again soon. :)
Absolutely amazing lodge getaway nestled in the Ozarks! Cabins were cozy, food was delish, surroundings were beautiful. Loved star gazing at night, exploring the river during the day and mingling with others in the main lodge for night caps. Dee & company know how to make you feel like family! Great lodge for groups, couples and families alike.
Fantastic getaway from it all! This place has everything - Mini golf! Rec room! Salt water pool! Fire pit! River access! Basketball court! Shuffleboard! Friendly staff! Stiff drinks! Homemade comfort food! Cannot possibly recommend enough for all types of travelers - just as suited for families as it is for solo adventurers. Thank you Janet, Rocky, Taylor, etc for such a memorable stay!
I was with a group of 17 for a fund raising hike. They were so accommodating! They had a breakfast ready for us a 3:30 am before our big hike day.
