NovaCare Rehabilitation

I have been to Physical Therapy twice prior to being referred to NovaCare. I must tell you NovaCare is by far the best Physical Therapy I have ever experienced. I had neck pain for about 1 year with no relief but NovaCare took it away in a matter of weeks and all the questions I had prior to PT experiences in the past were finally answered. I loved my experience there and although I'm finished with PT I would continue to go just to go because I loved the experience and the same are Amazing, wonderful and very friendly. I definitely recommend NovaCare to anyone who is looking for excellent PT services.

My husband was referred to NovaCare in Frederick by his neurologist for treatment of Parkinson’s. From our first phone call to our final visit the staff was just amazing. Shona, the receptionist, is so helpful and professional. Nick Kovacs, the physical therapist, is so knowledgeable and skillful. He engages with his patients and very encouraging. Joel, the PT assistant, is also very friendly and patient oriented. We would recommend this office and would definitely return there if we require future PT.

I love the team at NovaCare Guilford (Frederick) and am SO glad I asked my surgical team about adding PT to aid in my recovery. Nick knows his stuff and makes PT fun! The plan Nick has created and modified along the way is making my recovery smooth and stress-free. I've seen great progress so far and am much stronger now than I would be on my own. My pain and range of motion have greatly improved. He answers all of my crazy questions and has explained how various parts of the muscular system work and why it matters to me. Nick is truly top-notch.nnShawnna has an amazing personality and a very client-centric approach. She goes above and beyond and truly cares about the patients. I love her engagement initiatives, too!nnBoth Nick and Shawnna are always on top of making sure everything is clean and sanitized. I love that remote/telehealth is an option, but I've had no doubt they're doing all they're supposed to in order to keep us all safe and healthy.nnMy time at PT will soon come to an end and I'll be sad to say goodbye to this great team!

If I could rate MORE than 5 starts, I would so quickly. This place has the most friendliest staff I have ever come across. Brenda, at the front desk is the biggest sweetheart and I would always be so happy when I would see her bright face upon arrival. She makes you feel so comfortable, that it will feel like you are entering your own home. She speaks so kindly and nicely to everyone. The therapist, Nick, is ABSOLUTELY fantastic. He is such a good fit and I am so glad he picked this as his career, because it was definitely meant to be for him. He knows how to make his patients feel comfortable and understand that he is here for them 100%. He doesn’t just want you to arrive, do what he asks, and go home. He creates such a healthy bond with his patients and wants you to be excited to come to your therapy session. While I was working on my therapy session, he was working with another patient and upon his arrival, he first woulad ask about his week, social life, and honestly just made sure that the patients comfort level was great. I noticed how compassionate he was and how his words and gestures would allow the patient to slowly relax and feel better. He’s AMAZING at his job. You won’t find anyone better than these guys. Call Brenda, fill the paperwork out, and get better here! Thank you for helping me after my car accident. You guys really are the best!!

I cant say enough about the quality of care, rehabilitation, and information I received from Nick Kovacs at NovaCare, Fredrick MD. I had a torn rotator cuff operation and couldn't lift my arm any higher than my shoulder. With Nick's medical knowledge, guidance, and the personal PT care I received, I now have full motion and strength in my shoulder/arm just three months after my operation. He listened and understood the pain I felt on both bad and good days then customized my exercises to fit my needs on days of PT. This is the third time my family has used NovaCare Frederick and without hesitation we would happily go back if needed. Great friendly staff and very flexible with schedules.
