I came to MMI for a work related injury. The staff have all been kind and helpful through out my experience here. The Dr visits detailed all of my options. The PT sessions were phenomenal. Over a several months I have been helped by Coren, Lauren and Anthony with PT. They were all wonderful. The support staff were all friendly and made me feel comfortable with my routines. I worked with Jimmy and Lee the most and they were very patient and encouraging! I can now do all I need to do without pain. I never thought I'd get here and I am so thankful!

I arrived at 3:07 for an appointment at 3:15. I was told the doctor refused to see me because the doctor has a policy that a patient must arrive 15 minutes early or they would not see them. When I asked for a written policy, they didn't have one. I can only hope they won't charge a no show fee. Apparently the only thing that matters here are the doctors, not the patients. That is not a place I want to be treated, no matter the quality of docs.

We have been patients of MMI- Dr. Copaken for over a year. Our situation has been sensitive due to court being involved and our privacy has been well maintained. Dr. Copaken has been absolutely amazing with my daughter(niece). :-)

Sure pay a lot of money to be told “we don’t know what’s wrong with you” each visit. Not impressed

While I actually have had great experiences with CAO at their Gaithersburg and Germantown offices, my experience with MMI in Frederick left a lot to be desired. I was misdiagnosed by Mr Spignola for over a year. My request for an MRI and to get a second opinion from someone else in the practice were met with my being dismissed from the practice (while I was driving to my appointment I might add). This actually worked out well for me. Once they dismissed me I was seen by doctor Jani, an excellent orthopedic surgeon, who got me an MRI which correctly diagnosed my issue. I am now walking without a waddle and without pain. I never thought I would be able to run and jump again after over a year of Mr Spignola telling me that he has to deal with knee pain as well. I have no pain today. I can run. I can jump. I didn't need months and months of PT. I needed surgery. It has made all the difference. I had posted this review recently with 1 star. While time has eased the sting of being dismissed from the practice in such a disrespectful manner I still feel it's important to have this information posted so that potential patients know that it is ok to trust themselves and ask questions. I don't know what was the impetus for Mr Spignola dismissing me from the practice but I implore him to not be so resistant to exploring other options with his patients.
