We’ve been going to Exceptional dental for a while now.The place, staff, environment, are all excellent. My Dentist Dr Mcinnis is a very knowledgeable experienced young DoctornWho takes the time to explain the benefitsnOf the procedures he is going to perform.nnMake sure you ask for him to do your dental work.

My experience at Exceptional Dental was great!!!! My assistants Jarvis and Carolina were super awesome, they’re very friendly, knowledgeable and professional!!! My hygienist Huyen was the bomb super gentle and warming!!! Last but not least Dr. Landry is the Best!! My friend referred me 6 month ago and everything has been beyond exceptional!!! The staff are always very friendly and professional....easy to talk to.nFacility is clean and social distancing in place.nI love coming here and so glad my husband and I switched to Exceptional Dentist!

1/6/21nI needed to set up an emergency appointment for a chipped tooth. When I called, the staff was friendly and was able to see me immediately. I was extremely nervous but the dental assistant, Summer was very kind and instantly put me at ease. That's no easy feat. The dentist, Dr. Nguyen was professional and thorough. I feel very comfortable going here and highly recommend.n1/13/21nUpdate: I came back for a deep cleaning and my hygienist, Joslyn was everything you'd want in a hygienist. She was knowledgeable, personable and professional. She took her time to explain to me the procedure. I had some reservations about pain medication because I recently had a baby and am actively nursing her. She offered good advice and I didn't feel rushed. I'm so glad to have found this place.

I saw their ad on NOLA Marketplace and was impressed; however, that wasn’t my experience in-person. Upon entry, the Receptionist was on the phone; however, she never looked up to acknowledge my presence, no warm welcoming smile or motion to give her a minute. I proceeded to sign-in and took a seat. My appointment was for 8:00 AM. I arrived early just in case I needed to complete additional paperwork. Another young lady called me to the desk and proceeded to give me a clipboard of documents I completed online and submitted electronically. I informed her I completed it ALL online. She responded she’ll see if she can pull it up, but the system crashes, and sometimes they’re not able to retrieve it. I asked if that has been reported BC it takes a while to complete it all, and it’s done to avoid having to do it all the day of. She said she would report it again. However, once again, no warm greeting or welcoming feeling. The young lady who called me to the back was very nice and helpful. The dentist was as well, and the manager. They were very understanding and helpful regarding the purpose of my visit, but I guess my expectations were high based on what I saw on TV. I don’t recall seeing anyone wash their hands or use hand sanitizer in my presence, nor did I see a hand washing station outside or in the exam room, but that may have been an oversight, I hope. I had my records forwarded, but no one took the time to read them. I was at the Kenner location, BC the Metairie location never answered the phone when I called for an appointment. Exceptional Dental wasn’t all that exceptional. It was good to see diversity among the staff working in the back.
