Let me start off by saying I remain respectful when communicating with our law enforcement, court employees, judges, etc. and I appreciate that the Judge And Officer Ford treated me with respect. But everyone else I have communicated with at this court has been completely unprofessional and rude. For no reason. I can understand being defensive and stand-offish if rudely pushed By a customer, but when the people your are dealing with are remaining respectful there is no reason for the hostility. I was scolded/hung up on when I couldn’t understand what the receptionist was saying because of an echo through cell connection, when I stated this, I was yelled at, I then heard the phone slam, and the call went dead. I proceeded to call back, needing a number (That was nowhere to be found on their website) to pay a fine that Byron court wanted from me. The same receptionist proceeded to yell the number over the phone, hanging up on me again. I have never been so confused, upset and disrespected as I have here. Respectfully, I hope they take this review as a way of training employees to be a little more civil when working alongside the people in our community.
Thank you to Tish, and the Solicitor for giving me options I can work with during the Pandemic, They were understanding and gave me excellent phone service and help.
