Didn't really have a big selection of boards :/ the 3 brands they do carry, there is a decent selection

Not even close to what i would call a skate shop, its more of a corporate ran trend shop that happens to sell skateboards and the bare minimum skate supplies. The Staff had no clue about most of their skateboarding materials (trucks,wheels,BEARINGS,ect.) they only have 3 different brands of boards in stock so very limited on options. For shoes- i didnt see even ONE of a good brand or line of decent shoes meant for skateboarding, more than 75% of their selection was just NIKE. Clothing was the largest majority of the store and was a great selection, wish they carried as many different brands and selections of skateboards, trucks,bearings, wheels, and shoes of the same clothing brands they have. My son was super eager to just want to get himself another board so we could go and skate post haste that he didnt want to leave empty handed (despite my objections ud83eudd37‍♂ufe0f) that he bought one from the tiny selection, had the guy apply the griptape for him. Luckily after the quick observation that he was not knowledgeable on how and what to do, i decided to buy another sheet(didnt want confrontation, or hurt any feelings, his or my son’s) just incase and so glad i did. When all was over and done with there was more air bubbles than a bong in it and the edges were way overlapped, so i removed at a later time and applied myself (not to toot my own horn but i did a really great job, definitely better than what had been) Overall i think im just astounded and dont like the fact that this place is listed as and/or states themselves as a skateshop, ITS NOWHERE NEAR. I gave it 2 stars just because its somewhere local that does atleast carry skateboards, Accessories, and apparel which is hard to find around here or just atlanta period like its a dying art.

Pretty good store, but I went to buy a skateboard 2 days ago. They told me there would be a discount if I bought the complete board. I ended up buying the complete board, but we did 2 separate transactions and then the person helping me told me that she couldn't apply the discount. Is there a way Zumiez can help me with this? I would definitely like to get the discount and there has to be a way a Manager can help.
