We love DSW, but did the most shopping at the Roseville, Woodbury, and Maple Grove locations...Stopped in to buy some sneaks for the bday Princess, and left with good service again from the brown lady behind the counter!!!That location didn't give us best treatment the visit before...

I have shopped at this location for several years and have always had a pleasant experience until today. I placed an order for curb side pick up as this is a service now offered due to Covid-19. Seeing this as an option offered me relief as I am not comfortable with returning back to the “normal” shopping experience of physically going into a store. The email I received requested me to call ahead to coordinate pick up. I called the store and spoke with an associate. I explained that I had a curbside pick up and wanted to know the latest time for pick up. She began to explain that the latest time is 6pm but however if it starts to rain that I would need to come inside and pick it up. I was taken back as this is a service offered and it didn’t seem right, so I asked again. She explained the same scenario as if it was policy to not offer curbside pick up if it was raining. I had to process this and call back at a later time.nnI called back and was lucky enough to have the same associate assist me again. Her name is May. I was a bit upset at the time and asked her why a service I chose would not be offered because of the rain? Why they would rather have a customer inconvenienced for two reasons...1. To have the customer who’s order was for curbside pick have to come out in the rain just so the associate doesn’t and 2. Why they would make a costumer who elected curbside pick up as an alternative to coming inside the store due to Covid-19, now have to come inside because it is raining. May’s response was that they would have still assisted me. How? By having me come inside the store to pick up my order that I specifically placed curbside pick up, because it is raining?nnI called the customer service line to log a complaint. I was informed that not offering curbside pick up due to weather is not company policy and that part of my order was cancelled (I was not informed why). The customer service rep Pedro was very empathetic and apologized on behalf of the Norcross store. He also believes that May just didn’t want to offer curbside because of the rain. Which is very disheartening in a time like this when this service is offered to limit interactions and stop the spread.

The cashier was friendly and so nice!
