We had an absolutely awesome & amazing time. What a great adventure. The ocean/river was just beautiful. We even had some dolphins come up to our kayak & play & spray us. It was so funny. We had a blast. Shane is the best! He's the only one to rent from. Customers for life. Thank you Shane.

Perfect ending to our first full day in Tybee Island. Shane made sure we had everything we need out on the water for a few hours. We got to see dolphins and it was nice seeing the boats up close. As well the old light house was cool to see up close.

Had a great time kayaking with my wife. We literally had dolphins within inches of us. We saw some otters and pelicans under the bridge. Paddled out to the old lighthouse as well. The staff was cool. You gotta love the laid back Island vibes. The people there are just fun to talk to.

We booked North Island Surf and Kayak for a social distant safe activity for a small bachelorette party. I contacted them a couple weeks in advance. (Another paddle boarding place said they’d book me and after a month said they no longer could...) So I was appreciative that North Island was super helpful, nothing complicated and upfront with pricing. They are working hard and I love to support family owned business-the owner was so kind and his son was awesome helping us out! Recommend over any other on the island. Great experience.

Both of our guides were great - knowledgeable and good-natured. It was a lot of fun. I highly recommend these folks!
