M. C. Anderson Sports Complex

I love coming here to run or flip tires. It’s clean, well lit, and well maintained. The lots are permit only parking during the day, but we like to come at night to run when it’s not as busy.

Cool spot to run at the track. Try to avoid around noon due to lack of shade. There was also two disc golf baskets but recently one looked like it got backed into. Hasn't been replaced yet. There is also some small outdoor work out spots with pull-up bars, a sit-up bench with foot holders and other equipment. There is also a pavillion with a few outdoor grills and some restrooms. The restrooms don't have very good signage, but they are there.

It's not a terrible place to go play some sports. However it's probably not the BEST location in its area due to a large number of college students. Unless, of course, you're a college student. (Mil Creek is a great alternative for non GSU attending students) One positive to the Sports complex is the Basketball court that Mil Creek does not have. Though neither has skate parks, or Football fields.

I wake up and run here 4 days a week at about 6:30 am. It is really quiet in the morning with a well marked train and trail map. My Wife and I also walk there about every night. Is is pretty well lit,minus the back side of the field, and a great place to walk dogs or hang out.
