Great people to deal with, very friendly and helpful. How ever the only concern i had was how long it took them from the time i noted i had a warrant and was there to turn myself in until the time and officer actually came out to start the process was mind blowing. 4 hours. For 4 hours i sat as a wanted person inside the building at the main entrance. I guess if that's my only complaint its not a quality problem. However the police officer they did finally come take me into custody was professional and respectful and this i appreciate. Good Job SPD

I just bought a house here a little over a year ago. I have met a couple of y'all and are always SUPER nice!!! I called to report something and the lady laughed at me. I was clearly a distressed young lady and I was not given any information or helped. I was not asked if I needed someone to follow me home or suggested any help of any kind. If you’re near Georgia southern campus, call the campus police instead. Campus police were very helpful.

I think police officer are hero. These people are very nice and they won't ever bother you unless you did something wrong . They protect our town and they are the reason Statesboro is the safest place to live in the world IMO. Thank you for your service!

Unfortunately I wasn’t close enough to identify the vehicle, but I saw a cop run a straight red light for no reason. The light was red for a good 2 seconds and the cop went straight through it just to get stopped at the next light and not pull anyone over. If I did that I guarantee the cop would’ve pulled me over and I would’ve had a large fine and 3 points off my license. If you're going to enforce the law maybe try following the law yourself first.
