Had to go report kittens being dropped at our house. Spoke with two officers who were friendly and professional. Went back a week later to report the same thing (second time someone dropped kittens at our house... It's that time of year) and spoke with the detective. He took the time to explain how the animal control and shelter systems work and offered me suggestions for putting a stop to the idiots who keep abandoning kittens and cats at our home. He said if I can bring them proof, an arrest will be made.
