I came to the Seminole county fire station 27 on Red Bug Lake Rd, Winter Springs, on a Saturday afternoon to ask for help putting the car seat in my car for my grand-daughter. I’m 76 years old and I didn’t think the car seat was setting right. There were 4 firefighters there all sitting around chatting. I waited for 15 minutes and finally one of the guys came out with a sheet of paper said that this place is not offering to put car seat and this is a list of fire stations which offer that service but I have to make an appointment for it. I needed to get a cat seat installed in the car at that moment to drive my grand-daughter back to Gainesville right away. I was very disappointed for the unwillingness of the staffs at this fire station to help this old man. I’m sure one of those 4 men sitting there and chatting know how to put the car seat in the car. It’s sad that these men don’t uphold the mission of public servants.
They were fast to get there, courteous, professional and very knowledgeable when a friend collapsed at an Age of Aquarius event.
Excellent customer service.. helped me with my questions about my smoke detector.. Thank you for what you do to keep us safe.
As a student going for my AA general education as well as AS in EMS through valenica collage i had to interview a paramedic and i work down the road at the tire kingdom i showed up later in the evening after my store cloesd and firefighter/paramedic kyle Foulest had just returned from a call and was more then willing to help me with my interview project for school. He was a great person as was the other members of the station.
I have an autistic brother at home and when they were dispatched to my house, they handled the situation wonderfully. The guys at this station are the best!
