Crystal Lake Middle School

This is the school I went to for three years and it is not as bad as people claim. You as a student have to be responsible they don't allow fights and if there is a fight its broken up. The students are not the best behaved but the school works hard and is now a c school. The staff are very helpful and their is bullying but the school resource officer deals with that the school is slowly working to better the students and the school.

HORRIBLE!!!!! DO NOT PUT YOUR CHILD IN THIS SCHOOL IF YOU CARE ANYTHING ABOUT THEM AT ALL!!!! A few of the teachers seem to be decent people but others yell at the kids and have nasty rude hateful attitudes towards the kids. If you confront them about their behavior they retaliate by making false allegations on you and your child to dcf. After you go through everything with dcf and it is proven a deliberate and blatant lie and you again confront them then they attempt to deny they ever made a report. If your child behaves like a child and shows out they baker act them into mental health services. Several kids have been done this way, none of mine. Mama bear is putting it mildly. And God forbid they get sick and not come to school spreading germs everywhere then they send you letters threatening you with social workers. Don’t even get me started on the bullying, fights, and drugs. I hear it all. My child tells me everything. And yes bullying is obviously tolerated. This is one of the worst schools I have ever had the misery of dealing with. Love your kids and pull them out of there like I am doing.

The kids there are friendly and I have a lot of friends. We always have activities that are really fun. I love it there.

I am beyond frustrated with this school it is by far the worst one my son has ever attended first of it takes him am hour to get home from school in the afternoon he doesn't walk thru the door until 500 pm everyday making his life and mine almost impossible to not be on time for extra curricular activities he has had multiple things stolen here including his phone and the school did noting but repramand me for allowing him to have one when they have no idea his story as to why it's necessary for him to have it my child no longer feels safe at all because to an assistant principal took his phone because she saw him with it he was shutting it off after he has a teacher's permission to do so that teacher did not stand up for the child at all my son's only comfort since the active shooter issue in brpward county happened was k owing he could get a hold of us if needed my son has a 504 for an emotional disorder and tonight suffered major anxiety all because he asked for his new phone of one day after another student stole his he asked it be returned and it was denied I am beyond upset and I will be fighting for son to go to another location I have had enough

Great band program and teachers. However lunch is not so great. But everything else is fine. ud83dudc4d
